Bread Uttapam..

                            Bread Uttapam-
This is a quick and instant uttapam made with bread that does not need any planning or preparation like soaking rice and dal, grinding, fermenting etc
This bread uttapam can also be served as an after school snacks and lunch box also.
Prep Time - 10 mins Cook Time- 10 mins
 Serve- 2-3 persons



Ingredients-

   Bread - 4 slices (brown or white)( I use white bread)
   Rava/Semolina - 1/2 cup
   Curd - 1/2 cup
   All purpose flour/maida - 1 tbsp
   Rice flour - 1 tbsp
   Water - 1/2 cup
   Salt as needed

   Ginger - 3/4 tsp grated or paste
   Onion - 3 tbsp chopped
   Carrot - 2 tbsp grated
   Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
   Tomato - 1 tbsp (seeded and chopped)
   Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp finely chopped    Oil for making Uttapm
( you can use other veggies also like spinach, cabbage, capsicum, corn Etc.) 
Method-
Finely chop onion and green chillies. (you can avoid green chillies for kids). Grate carrot and keep it ready.

Bread Dosa...

                               Bread Dosa-
This is a quick and instant dosa made with bread that does not need any planning or preparation like soaking rice and dal, grinding, fermenting etc Prep Time - 15 mins Cook Time - 20 mins Servings - 3-4 persons

INGREDIENTS-
White bread slices – 8-10 Semolina or rava – 1/2 cup Rice flour – 2 teaspoons Curd – 1/2 cup Salt to taste
FOR SEASONING-
Oil – 2 tablespoons Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (jeera) – 1/4 teaspoon Green chillies – 2 (chopped finely) Urad dal – 1/2 teaspoon Chopped coriander leaves  – 2 tablespoons

Method-
Take the bread slices and trim the edges of the bread.  Grind the bread slices to a fine powder.
Then add semolina, rice flour, curd, (Use slightly sour curd for better taste, as the batter is not fermented.) salt and water and grind to make a batter of dosa consistency.                                         Bread Pizza Ingredients-

Bread 4 slices
Onion 3 tbspn chopped
Capsicum 3 tbspn chopped
Tomato 2 tbspn chopped
Corn (frozen) 2 tbspn
Grated cheese 4 spoon (as  required)
Tomato Sauce or pizza sauce
Oregano for garnishing
Chili flakes  a pinch
Pepper powder for seasoning a pinch
You can use also veggies like carrot, cabbage.
Method:      
Get all your ingredients ready. First spread a one tbsp of pizza sauce on one side of the bread, now add the chopped onion.
Then add capsicum, tomato, corn and sprinkle pepper powder, oregano and chilli flakes. Grate the cheese such that it covers the all vegetables. Preheat oven at 200 deg C for 10 min. and bake it at the same temperature for 5-7 min. or until the cheese melts.
Garnish with oregano while serving as per your preference. Serve Hot .

Bread with potato filling makes a mouthwatering snack. This is a perfect snack with afternoon tea .You can serve as a appetizer.  Bread  Rolls are crunchy outside, spicy and soft inside. Easy to prepare and serve. Its kids favorite snacks.
Preparation Time-20 min. Cooking Time- 15 min. Serve 4 member Ingredients:
Make 8 bread rolls
§8 bread slices §2 medium size potatoes boiled peeled and mashed §1/4 cup green peas, boiled §1 teaspoon oil §1/4 teaspn cumin seeds §1/2 teaspn salt §1/8 teaspn red chili powder §1/2 teaspn mango powder (amchoor) §1 tabspn coriander leaves  finely chopped §1 green chili  minced,  according  to taste §1 teaspoon ginger finely chopped §Oil to fry
Method- 1.Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the cumin seed. When the cumin seed starts to crackle, add green peas, green chili, and ginger, and stir for a few seconds. 2.Add the potatoes and all the spices chili powder, mango powder, salt, and coriander leaves  and stir-fry for a minute.
